A PeopleSoft Financials V9.0 senior consultant / PeopleSoft Real Estate Management Consultant that has been involved in
the design, configuration, implementation, testing, and maintenance of several financial systems for the General Ledger
and Asset Management 9.0 modules.  Well experienced in implementing the Asset Management Real Estate Module.





PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Lead Implementation Consultant –PeopleSoft Team November 2009 – Present

•        Senior Consultant for a PeopleSoft Real Estate 8.9 Implementation
•        Currently in the Testing/Training phase of the Implementation.  Completed the Analysis, Design, and Build phases.  
This implementation includes Owned Properties, Payables Leases, Receivables Leases, and Subleases.  Due to some of
the customizations added, the Real Estate module fits the client’s needs and provides the knowledge for future Real
Estate implementations.  Provided the Fit Gap analysis, RICE list, Design Document, Current and Future Process Flows,
Security configuration, and Testing Scripts for one of the largest Public Hospital systems in the country.  


Senior Consultant – Oracle/PeopleSoft Team November 2007 – November 2009

•        Functional Analyst for a PeopleSoft Real Estate 9.0 Implementation
•        Reviewed Business and reporting requirements, conducted fit/gap sessions, planned and conducted training
sessions, planned and facilitated test cycles, and resolved open issues for a major retail company.  We were the first to
implement this module and due to that milestone, presented the features and shared some of our knowledge, along with
the developer and a client representative, at Oracle OpenWorld 2009.  Assisting on other enhancements to their General
Ledger and Asset Management modules.  Managed the technical resource as we added new functionality to the Real
Estate module.
•        Implemented Workflow for the General Ledger using Role Query method as opposed to using Source to drive the
workflow.


Senior Consultant – Oracle/PeopleSoft Team July 2005-September 2007

•        Testing Team Leader and Training Co-Coordinator for an Oracle 11i Installation
•        Developed a Test Plan for an Oracle 11i installation for a billion dollar manufacturer of plastic pipes. This plan
included all test phases, including Unit, Functional, Integration, System, and User Acceptance.
•        Created or prepared training documentation for Oracle 11i Purchasing, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed
Assets, and Cash Management modules for training the client’s staff and client’s online library.

•        Asset Module Lead for a PeopleSoft Financials 8.8 implementation
•        Asset Module Lead for a PeopleSoft Financials 8.8 implementation for an international provider of Savings, Home
Loans, Investments, CDs and Home Equity.   Tasks included requirement gathering, FIT/GAP sessions, system design,
system build, testing, training and deployment.


•        Merger Accounting Consultant for an impending merger between two major energy service providers
•        Documented stub period accounting (period between acquisition date and closing date) for the two energy service
providers who were using PeopleSoft, Oracle, and SAP for their Accounting and Human Resource activities.   This included
the creation of an approach to document stub accounting procedures, meeting with the business owners to discuss said
procedures, assisting with the proof of concept test, and assisting with review and documentation of procedures for proof
of concept.  Worked closely with an energy service provider’s key business owner to document and compare journals
from normal month end to a test month end using the documented stub period accounting procedures.   Worked with the
Purchasing team to ensure that all purchase entries were recorded correctly and new ledger balances were updated
accordingly.
•        Updated the Inter-company Procedure documents that were used to train subject matter experts for use after the
merger was to occur.  Assisted in the design and planning of the training curriculum.

•        Asset Module Lead and Co-Lead for the General Ledger for a PeopleSoft Financials 8.8 Upgrade
•        Asset Module Lead for a PeopleSoft 8.8 upgrade from PeopleSoft 8.4 and Co-Lead for the General Ledger which was
on PeopleSoft 8.0 for an international provider of enterprise business intelligence solutions.  Tasks included requirement
gathering, FIT/GAP sessions, system design, system build, testing, training and deployment.

 
Lead Senior Consultant – PeopleSoft General Ledger and Asset Management Upgrade - May 2005 – June 2005
•        Lead training material consultant on a PeopleSoft General Ledger and Asset Management 8.8 upgrade (from
PeopleSoft 7.0) implementation for an international provider of retail electronic products and services.  Delivered all of
the documentation on time and to a successful completion.  The General Ledger portion of the project included providing
training materials for the Client’s customizations for journal imports, allocation, and numerous reports.  The Asset
Management portion of the project included providing how to configure asset capitalization plans owned and leased
assets, and various reports.  


Consultant – PeopleSoft GL upgrade from 7.5 to 8.4 for an international hospitalization services company

November 2004 – January 2005
•        Preparation of PeopleSoft GL training documents.  
•        Instructor for PeopleSoft General Ledger to the client’s staff.
•        Assisted in conversion and implementation of PeopleSoft.

•        Directed a three-person staff responsible for security, system maintenance, and help desk support for the
PeopleSoft General Ledger and related tools for over 1,000 users.  
•        Controlled issuance of new chartfield values.
•        Controlled PeopleSoft Translation from 22 different currencies to US Dollars.
•        Managed the journal approval workflow rules.
•        Administered the opening and closing of accounting periods including year end close processes.
•        Provided support for testing of patches and upgrades to the UNIX servers by the development team.
•        Controlled the support for testing and implementation of new interfaces from outside systems.

COA Accountant – FRED Project (Conversion from Legacy system to PeopleSoft) (February 1998 – July 1999)
•        As a member of the conversion team that successfully implemented PeopleSoft 7.0 General Ledger.   Primary
responsibilities were to create a new chart of accounts for the general ledger, help design and implement multi-currency
translation, lead various workshops, user acceptance testing coordinator for the Credit Card operations, and part of the
massive training effort of training over 1,000 users.

Manager – Credit Card Settlement Operations Accounting (March 1992 – January 1998)
•        Managed a five-person department responsible for daily credit card settlement with Visa and MasterCard for
Associates National Bank.   This staff achieved high department performance through my effective hiring, training,
coaching and teamwork.  Built and maintained a strong relationship with the other areas of Credit Card support.  Provided
meaningful, accurate and timely financial month end results to upper management.    Key member of internal and external
audit information in preparation of financial statements per GAAP.
