Oil/Gas Energy Drilling Industry • Hyperion System 9 Planning: Tim was a key team member assisting with the design, and development of a very
complex “Activity” based planning application. He assumed full responsibility for developing an application to scrub data from another cube and migrate
the data to the new application. He also helped identify inconsistencies in the Account, Entity and Location hierarchies as well as assisting with data tie-
out. He created several forms and made updates to forms as requirements changed. He wrote calculations for converting data from fixed non-activity
based expenses to flexible activity based expenses that move in time when an activity moves. He also wrote calculations to move activity based
“flexible” expenses to “fixed” non-activity based expenses and to calculate single and multiple rig financial calculations.

Oregon Health & Sciences University/Oregon Graduate Institute • Hyperion Planning: Tim redesigned the Planning application, including

Managed applications development and IT support for 14 business units in the corporate offices. These included Treasury, Corporate Tax, Legal,
Global/Corporate Finance, Americas Finance, Levis Finance, Dockers Finance, Slates Finance, Sales Finance, Risk Management, Global Communications,
Facilities/Real Estate, Community Affairs, and Internal Audit.
Rebuilt the Corporate Systems Financial Applications department, including interviewing, hiring and managing IT staff supporting the Global and Levi
Strauss Americas Finance groups and Hyperion products. This includes development and cross training of staff, setting objectives and performance
reviews. Organized and led a Hyperion Business Solution strategy session with Hyperion consultants and key stakeholders throughout the Levi Strauss
Global and Americas finance organizations to assess our current use and plan future strategy with respect to Hyperion products. Developed excellent
working relationships with key business partners at all levels in the Finance organization. Managed cost center with a budget of over $1.5MM including
staff and projects budget.
Successfully developed a strategy for and managed the redesign of Corporate Financial Consolidation systems which included conversion of over 35
Enterprise disparate applications into a World Application model. Obtained buy-in from Global Finance leadership in support of this strategy and
managed all aspects of the project. Project was implemented on time and on-budget and allowed us to manage global consolidation efforts much easier
as we now had 4 applications worldwide versus 35+. As a result of successful implementation of this project, we saved approximately $500,000 in annual
maintenance fees and cost avoidance.
Administration of five Essbase data cubes covering Shipping Performance, SKU Demand, Enterprise and Brand financial forecast data. This includes
redesign and documentation of cubes, loading of data, administration and training. Other applications development and in-house consultant related
items include troubleshooting and fixing or redesigning several Microsoft Access and Visual Basic applications, from AP Cash Management and the
Treasury Reporting System to Fabric Usage Reporting and various Payment Request Systems.

Senior Manager, Customer Satisfaction Measurement
Identified the strategic need to deploy new technology to support our new Customer Satisfaction Survey and problem resolution processes and
developed the infrastructure to support this strategy.
Managed the Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS) process, utilizing FOCUS (with JCL-command language programming), ran jobs to prepare data for
reporting and then ran specific service performance reporting jobs. Responsible for loading raw data onto mainframe, execution and distribution of the
monthly CSS reports and handling all issues raised by the field. Designed and built an Intranet site for field access to the monthly Customer Satisfaction
reports electronically, replacing the previous method of each office downloading batches and printing copies. Wrote FOCUS programs to gather data
needed for business drivers and special requests.
LAN/WAN network administration duties (Netware 3.X and some NT 4.0), included software installation, adding/deleting user ID's, assigning access rights
and doing system back-ups. Diagnosed and fixed network and desktop system problems. Trained employees on system use. Supported department's
conversion to NT, transferring data from Netware to the NT platform. Was department liaison with the Corporate IT groups for NT network problem
resolution where necessary.
As part of the management team, hired and managed employees and contractors. Helped resolve departmental issues and outline departmental goals
and future service strategies. Worked with project team migrating the Complaint Tracking System database to Paradox for Windows. In managing the
Complaint Tracking System, I created a new coding scheme to capture customer issues, designed a new user interface, programmed system (Object PAL)
and reports and did performance testing. Responsible for the application's development, upgrades, management, and system maintenance, as well as,
reporting of customer complaint data.
Prepared weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, integrating customer complaint and customer survey data for the field and senior management, in
