companies.  Expert in leading both large scale as well as small to medium sized highly available Application Implementation and System Deployment
projects through the full system life cycle.  Experienced in managing mission-critical production and non-production level systems deployments while
achieving or exceeding project objectives, meeting Service Level Agreements and ensuring a positive end-user experience.  Demonstrated ability to

o        Responsible for the overall baseline support and on-going maintenance of all environments of the Hyperion Enterprise 6.5 and Hyperion HFM
System 9.3.1 Corporate Financial Consolidation System and the Hyperion Planning System 11.1.1 budgeting and forecasting systems.
o        Providing on-demand support of a Global HFM v11.1.x deployment to over 50 world-wide sites.  Involved in both the core infrastructure/server
builds as well as advising on HFM and FDM hierarchy design, creating a common chart of accounts across disparate source ledger systems and the
development of Hyperion Web Analysis and Hyperion Reporting.
o        Enhanced and Optimized Essbase Business Rules, Data Load rules and Calculation scripts to better utilize the data feeds from source systems for
the Hyperion Planning applications as well as stand-alone data cubes.
o        Implemented an automated alert system to allow proactive monitoring of Hyperion servers and services via Microsoft System Center Operations
Manager.  This early warning system has greatly enhanced the ability to react to server-side issues in a highly proactive manner.
o        Effectively created and validated reports from Hyperion HFM System 9.3.1 and Hyperion Planning System 9.3.1
o        Utilized Oracle Hyperion Essbase and SmartView add-ins to analyze the organizations reporting hierarchies and overall reporting structures in a
quick and effective manner and to verify that the correct information was being retrieved from the back-end databases.
o        Principal HFM System 9 design architect.  Held a lead role in the design and Implementation of the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) System 9
Financial Consolidation System.
o        Created the overall Hyperion System 9 Corporate Consolidation System blueprint. Designed Production environment to utilize multiple load-
balanced web servers and employed storage clustering technologies to ensure a highly capable and highly available production consolidation system.
o        Led and coordinated network utilization and bandwidth survey to ensure accurate budgeting of bandwidth and network resources to support the
global roll-out of the Hyperion HFM project. Evaluated all network locations on the corporate MPLS network.
o        Overall responsibility for Hyperion Financial applications, including Hyperion Enterprise, a mission-critical global financial consolidation system
deployed to over 1600 end-users worldwide.  The Hyperion system takes input from the various Accounting ledger systems used throughout the
organization and produces consolidated financial reports on a divisional, departmental and project basis.  The system is also used to generate the
company’s Earnings per Share (EPS) number and to meet government reporting requirements both in the United States (the SEC) and abroad.
o        Technical Project Manager for the Financial Consolidation System Project. The mission of this global project was to replace the existing Hyperion
Enterprise v5.x Financial Consolidation System with a more scalable, transactional-based product.  The Hyperion Solutions’ Hyperion Financial
Management (HFM) product was ultimately chosen as the product to deploy.  HFM provides true n-tier architecture with an Oracle SQL back-end
database.  The HFM product has ultimately enabled the organization to expedite their accounting cycle close while realizing significant cost savings in
system administration.  The new system meets all Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) information auditing requirements and provides the end-user with a more robust
feature rich and more responsive financial consolidation system.
o        Directly responsible for outlining the technical architecture of the HFM system, including the ‘Sandbox’, Development, System Test, Production,
Training and Disaster Recovery environments.  Utilized High Availability technologies to build in fault tolerance at the core system level.
o        Principal designer for the HFM Disaster Recovery Plan (“DRP”). The DRP is designed to minimize the time required to cut over to the DRP site while
ensuring that data and productivity loss is minimal.

o        Overall responsibility for Hyperion Financial applications, including Hyperion Enterprise, a mission-critical global financial consolidation system
deployed to over 1600 end-users worldwide.  The Hyperion system takes input from the various Accounting ledger systems used throughout the
organization and produces consolidated financial reports on a divisional, departmental and project basis.  The system is also used to generate the
company’s Earnings per Share (EPS) number and to meet government reporting requirements both in the United States (the SEC) and abroad.
o        Provide direction, motivation and team management to 12 full time staff members for the Hyperion Enterprise system and its related components.
o        Realized significant system performance improvements and a substantial decrease in system support efforts by deploying Hyperion Enterprise via
Citrix XP.  Migrating to Citrix XP enabled centralized system administration and thereby decreased overall system support requirements and system
support costs while improving the end-user experience.
o        Implemented a full scale Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) for the Hyperion consolidation system.  This plan uses stand-by servers in a remote data
center, which are automatically synchronized and a full set of systematic documentation for all DRP team members.  The DRP is tested twice a year and
has yielded very favorable results; including a drill, which proved the ability to perform a full accounting close while in remote DRP mode.
o        Delivered customer focused end-user training to over 800 users by creating on-site workshops in various global locations. Responsible for
coordinating all pre-training arrangements, negotiated vendor rates and ensured the training was delivered effectively and within budget.
o        Consistently achieved favorable Corporate Internal Audit results by ensuring that appropriate and effective access controls are in place for all
systems in my area of responsibility.  
o        Deployed proactive security monitoring tools to provide intrusion detection at both the server/application level and the network and subnet level.
o        Member of the Corporate Information Protection Committee. This global committee was created to ensure that industry best practices are in place
to protect the security and integrity of data contained within Pfizer systems.
o        Key decision maker as to the criticality and deployment priority schedule for security vulnerabilities and their related remediation solutions that
were identified by Microsoft and other vendors.  Served as security liaison for all financial systems within the Pfizer Accounting Services division.  
•        Financial Consolidation System Upgrade Project - Senior Project Manager
o        Technical Project Manager for the Financial Consolidation System Project. The mission of this global project was to replace the existing Hyperion
Enterprise v5.x Financial Consolidation System with a more scalable, transactional-based product.  The Hyperion Solutions’ Hyperion Financial
Management (HFM) product was ultimately chosen as the product to deploy.  HFM provides true n-tier architecture with an Oracle SQL back-end
database.  The HFM product has ultimately enabled the organization to expedite their accounting cycle close while realizing significant cost savings in

o        Held key role in the vendor selection process for this Consolidation System Upgrade Project.  Reviewed several vendors software packages and
evaluated each one based on how closely they support the needs of the organization.
o        Led a team of six system engineers during of the requirements gathering phase of the upgrade project.  By surveying Pfizer financial groups
worldwide, we gained valuable insight into their requirements; leveraged the information gathered from the survey process to project and properly size
the required hardware and software needed to properly  implement the product..
o        Prepared the IT budget for the project.  Kept new hardware purchases to a minimum by leveraging existing hardware where possible.  Adjusted
staff requirements and ensured staff cross training during various stages of the project to keep overall project costs as minimal as possible.
o        Co-authored the complete project plan with other managers and project stakeholders.  Project plan was completely outlined, including milestones
to document every aspect of the project, from the initial development and data conversion phases to the three month parallel testing phase and finally to
the “go live” cut over to the new system.
o        Directly responsible for outlining the technical architecture of the HFM system, including the ‘Sandbox’, Development, System Test, Production,
Training and Disaster Recovery environments.  Utilized High Availability technologies to build in fault tolerance at the core system level.

    AtS – ARM Project Manager – Most work performed remotely from Florida
o        Project Manager for the Pfizer worldwide Adapting to Scale (“AtS”) Application Rationalization and Migration (“ARM”) project.  The ARM project was
implemented to inventory, analyze and migrate or consolidate the many Pfizer data centers worldwide.  The overall goal of the ARM project was to create
synergies within IT Infrastructure by leveraging the Pfizer Corporation and Pharmacia Corporation global merger.
o        Interacted with over 300 Data Center managers worldwide to compile data on each data center, the servers it houses, the applications hosted on
these servers and to collect and document contact information for all applications and hardware within each data center.
o        Created and presented various reports and Microsoft Power Point presentations to upper management charting the progress of the project and my
recommendations on how we can consolidate and/or eliminate data centers that perform duplicate or very similar functions.
o        Project yielded a significant cost realization by reducing numerous data centers and many servers housed within them. This cost reduction helped
to fulfill the organizations goal of reducing operational IT expenses worldwide.

o        Project lead for the Corporate Human Resources Group initiative to roll out Windows NT workstation 4.0 as the desktop standard for its user
community.  Duties Included set up of the test environment, development of standard user groups and policies in Windows NT and documenting the
procedures required to successfully deploy a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation setup within the Corporate HR network environment.
•        Application Development
o        Researched, designed and coded a Customer Service Inquiry tracking system for use by the Employee Benefits Department.  This system, created
in Microsoft Access and Visual Basic and VBA, greatly improved customer responsiveness by allowing inquires and issues to be tracked and fully
documented in a workgroup environment.  Managed all phases of the project including requirements documentation, coding and end user
documentation.

•        Network Administration
o        Network Administrator for 80 user departmental network using a 16-megabit token ring topology with Novell 3.12 and Windows NT 3.51 servers.
Client machines consisted of Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups and Windows NT 3.51.  Network resources include print servers, a Novell SAA
gateway for connectivity to IBM host machines, a FAX Server, and a communications server using Netware Connect.  Administrator duties include
network planning and design, user support, server and client software installations, user management, file and network resource management and
disaster recovery implementation.

o        Participated as a developer and backup project leader in a client server billing system development project.  This project used Sybase System 10
as a backend database and PowerBuilder Enterprise as the front-end development tool.  Participated in all facets of the application life cycle, from
