Work Experience

Saturn Brokerage Inc.
January 2010 to Present
I was contacted once again by the President of Saturn Brokerage to update and upgrade their current Server and business software along with the
Business processes in order to meet the needs of their growing business.. Revamp Saturn Brokerages Web site to include additional online functionality
to streamline business process. Perform desktop support when needed. Explore other functional and technical options for future growth.
RedPrairie                                                                              Master Software Engineer
March 2008 to October 2009
As Master Software Engineer of the RedPrairie Transportation Application and part of the customer implementation team, I assisted managers and other
team members in the technical engineering aspects of customer implementation. Other responsibilities include mentoring and providing technical
guidance for other engineers, and providing process improvement recommendations to the services organization. This position represents the highest
technical level of engineering that is not directly responsible for a project.
***On this job the tools and platform I worked with were SQL, C++ and C# as the programming languages that made up RedPrairies proprietary language
known as Moca. The database used was SQL Server which I deployed and populated the tables from raw data files.

Robert Half Technologies
August 2006 to November 2007
Client: Cox Custommedia
I was placed at Cox to analyze and determine vital fixes in their application Omnis which had plagued this company for quite some time. Omnis used a
Hierarchical Database and the OMNIS programming language, called notation and was something I had to learn hands on in order to initiate their fixes.
These fixes encompassed the areas of Accounting, Invoicing, Shipping cost calculations and Reporting among others. I created and implemented a
Tracking Solution in order to give Management the tool to better enhance their business by measuring Department usage time and Personnel usage.
This was also a Mac environment that I had to adapt to, being a PC person. By the time my contract had concluded I had all of their issues resolved and
Omnis was working in every aspect of their business. I also used SQL and Omnis VCS. The Omnis VCS directly manipulates the internal Omnis Library
structures and exposes them to developers in a useful manner. The Omnis Library is essentially a complex binary object, somewhat like a video file. In all
I went from never hearing of Omnis to reprogramming and rectifying all of the issues that existed there when I first started. I used Microsoft Office Suite
(to document and save all vital information, create process flows and timelines also to easily create interface files).

MJD Logistics Consultant LLC                                                                                                April 2006 to August 2006
Client:  Saturn Brokerage                                                                     Independent Consultant
I facilitated the setup and installation of the computer network for a major freight broker.  My responsibilities included all equipment purchasing,
establishment of the network from the ground up, and ensuring the turn-key systems operations.  I had additionally responsibilities for the development
of the client’s interactive Web page.

Keane Advisors
October 2005 to April 2006
As MJD Logistics Consultant LLC (MANUGISTICS GROUP, INC. / JDA)
Client:  ConAgra Foods        Independent Consultant
Configuration of the Transport software has always been the means by which savings and optimization are desired by clients. I was brought to
Chicago once more as an Independent Consultant and worked various satellite projects that included Schedule Consolidation in Manugistics
Transportation Management (which is now JDA Transport). The client was running seven schedules and I worked to consolidate them into three highly
efficient schedules. Additional responsibilities included me as part of the Upgrade team taking Manugistics Transportation Management (which is now
JDA Transport) from v 7.1 to v. 7.2. My involvement was at a high level support role over seeing other Consultants in the upgrade procedures also to
include generating an updated Process Flow library for roll out to the end users that enabled anyone off the street to step in and use the Transport
system.

I was also a team member that looked to replace a homegrown Rate Database that ConAgra felt was not compliant with the rest of their systems
Architecture.

***On this project the tools and other systems that I used included Informatica (used to drive the interface files to and from the Transport software and
satellite warehouses), First Logic (used to validate addresses of all customer locations before the interface file was generated to the Transport system
insuring that the mileages calculated in the ASD matched those rates contracted by the Company and the Carriers), Microsoft Office Suite (to document
and save all vital information, create process flows and timelines also to easily create interface files), SQL (to extract information desired from the Oracle
Tables also used to create SQL scripts that would run at predetermined times for more automation of tedious set processes), Unix machines using
operating system AIX, I extracted the desired base rates from the LTL Yellow 500J Freight Tariff (used company wide then created an interface file in the
Oracle tables proper format and loaded the rates using the manual load functionality of the Transport software), used and configured ODBC to allow
access the Oracle tables by the end users in a read only manner giving readily available data to generate ad-hoc reports, hands on the Procurement
software SAP /R3 in a testing capacity for integration, WS FTP_Pro (to manually transfer input and output files to and from system directories), used Test
Director (to log and track the progress of open issues in the implementation or upgrade phases), and EDI (used in transferring load information to and
from carriers in a much more efficient manner enabling the software the capability to practically running itself, initial data mapping to EDI formats 204, 214
etc.).

Plan4Demand Solutions, Inc.         (Consultant at the next six Clients)
August 2002 to September 2005
Client:  ConAgra Foods        Sr. Consultant
Project involvement included testing for an SAP upgrade along with a Schedule Consolidation project. The analysis and testing of the schedule
consolidation proved to be a benefit and a workable solution. Deliverables were the results of the analysis to management.
I worked on a single deployment project, which added the entire ConAgra Foods network to Manugistics Transportation Management (which is now JDA
Transport). This included hundreds of Mixing Centers, Plants, Co-Packers and Distribution points, created a solution for Ocean shipments to Hawaii
utilizing an Intermodal solution. Responsible for optimizing and configuring Transport to handle 4 times their usual volume in the same amount of ASD
(automated solution development) runtime in order to reduce dead time. The entire project was completed on time without issues, and went live
November 28th 2004. Also during 14 months at ConAgra Foods responsibilities included helping to integrate the Temperature controlled Mixing centers
into Manugistics Transportation Management (which is now JDA Transport). Was part of a team that designed, developed and tested new pipeline and
processes that got the temperature controlled centers online and running. ConAgra’s multi pick facility was also added to Transport by integrating a new
Schedule and developed it as a multi pick solution. I was able to generated optimal system performance by streamlining ConAgra’s entire Transport
configuration. This allowed the system to handle the additional workload efficiently.
Responsible for helping with Production Support after all implementations and aided ConAgra in their everyday operations as needed.
Analyzed and helped determine the best Rate structure within Manugistics Transportation Management (which is now JDA Transport) that would continue
to produce the best Solution Quality without impacting the ASD runtime. ConAgra required a wide variety of Rate types to run their business due to the
various types of facilities in the same geographic area.
Configuring and developing new (SOP’s) Standard Operating Procedures for major over haul of Business processes and Operation changes. Created
Process Flows and Timelines to achieve on time deliverables. Working with a multitude of team players from Directors to end users to Operating Groups
and Customers.  I had quite a bit of hands on with systems and managing change requests. I also analyzed and Documented To-Be processes to enhance
existing As-Is processes.
A large project responsibility was developing a Distributor solution within Transport to help facilitate better on time deliveries through LTL service
commitments. As needed also aided accounting with Freight Pay process.
I was exposed to Informatica which was the catalyst by which Manu transferred data to and from the Transport software as well as to the warehouses,
Carriers and SAP. Also First Logic, which was responsible for validating the addresses of all customers as the USPS reports them to ensure accuracy
when calculating miles within Manugistics Transportation Management (which is now JDA Transport) using MileMaker.  I also had some hands on work in
the SAP system that is currently employed at ConAgra.
***On this project the tools and other systems that I used included Informatica (used to drive the interface files to and from the Transport software and
satellite warehouses), First Logic (used to validate addresses of all customer locations before the interface file was generated to the Transport system
insuring that the mileages calculated in the ASD (Automated Solution and Development) matched those rates contracted by the Company and the
